Caprivi Namibia

October 4th to 18th 2009

This trip organized by Biosphere-Expeditions had the primary aim of finding ways of easing the relationship between villagers and the threat of predators (mainly Lions and Hyenas) upon their livestock.

The team of volunteers spent time with questionnaires in the villages and monitoring predators in the area.  One aim was to fix radio collars to the animals so that their presence could be mapped and villagers warned.

The following photos are a brief record of some of the activities, with additional photos of birds and animals seen.
